Well, I know I mentioned in my last post about food how good kale was for you, but I can’t get enough of it. All I read is how many vitamins it has so I’ve tried to incorporate it into as many of my meals as I can: smoothies, salads, and my new experiment, kale chips.
Yes crunchy salty chips, minus the grease. Now if you don’t like vegetables… I’d be cautious because these don’t exactly taste like potato chips.
Here’s what ya do: it’s easier than you think.
1. Tear up the kale, get those thick stems out of the way, I suggest big pieces because they do shrink, very much.
2. Spread some olive oil over them in a pan
3. Sprinkle salt
Heat the oven to 350, and bake for 13 minutes, they do shrink up and they are thin and delicate so if you like thick chips these may not be for you. Of course they taste different but I suggest everyone try them for themselves.
Now I’m trying to come up with some healthy sweets to cure my sweet tooth!
